What kind of media institution would distribute your media product and why?

I think the distributor that is more likely to sell my product is Future Media. It seems they tend to distribute magazines similar to what my offering is; they’re behind the more specialized products, such as ‘Guitar Techniques’. I’d compare the material on my magazine to the material in Guitar Techniques, because it’s all production oriented instead of music oriented. Although I think my magazine still retains the music magazine’s main aspects.
Waveform would be distributed in a similar way to Guitar Techniques, sold at a retailer for a specialized price, but a cheaper price than other Future Media publications.
In terms of circulation, I'm looking into about 300,000 per issue if successful.

Here's a link to Future PLC's music magazines, most of them are specialized magazines:

  1. A good, if rather short, summary. What mags would you be competing with? What would your target circulation figure be?
